My Inspiration -The Skeleton Dance -1929

A few pieces I have made so far.

A little centipede I made with a hobby putty called "green stuff".

Traditional Katrina done with ink.

Silly skeleton done in ink.

Sugar skull I did in photoshop.

The right equipment... who knew?!

Good bye Nikon Coolpix! Hello, Canon Powershot! I guess Aubrey was right- having the right equipment definitely helps get the job done better and faster. I have been working so hard on all of the little components for my piece that I had to remind myself to start compiling all of them and start on the grand finale! I will post some photos of a few pieces I have been working on.

Muertos!

For the past few days I have been constructing assorted background components for the final presentation piece I am working on. Our instructor said that it should be something that represents our talents and interests, and who we are as artists. I have decided to go with a day of the dead theme. My fingers are crossed- we'll see how this goes.

WE'RE SO BOARD!

Right now I am working with a great group of people on some silly stop-motion pieces; all of which were created on a dry-erase board. It is a blast! I have learned a lot and now feel a little better about moving forward on my individual piece for the end of the semester. Will keep you updated!
